Taylor is an executive leader in business acquisition management who has worked at government agencies for 29 years and knows federal government procurement procedures. A member of the Senior Executive Association since 2010, Taylor has helped improve the efficiency of the federal procurement system, ensuring that taxpayer money goes into helping families and small businesses. She lives in Crofton, Maryland.

  2. Susan M Taylor Former Deputy Chief Procurement Officer Susan M. Taylor is the former Deputy Chief Procurement Officer for the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. Before she retired from the post in November of 2014, she worked with hundreds of contracting officers around the country to provide services and supplies to hundreds of veterans’ hospitals and clinics nationwide. Taylor spent 29 years working for the Federal Government, the last 15 of which in management and executive positions.

Taylor worked in the Department of Veterans Affairs for over four years as its Deputy Chief Procurement Officer for the Veterans Health Administration in Washington, DC. Taylor led a Procurement Department of 2800 contracting officials around the country, procuring services and supplies for 153 veterans’ hospitals and hundreds of veterans’ clinics. During her time there, until her retirement from its leadership position in late 2014, the department made annual procurements of over $15 billion.

  4. Susan M Taylor Federal Government Employee for 29 Years Susan M. Taylor joined the Federal Government in 1985. She worked for as the Director of Contracting for Ginnie Mae, a contracting agency within the Department of Housing and Urban Development for eight years. She moved through many departments of the Federal Government until she landed at the Department of Veterans Affairs as the Deputy Procurement Officer for the Veterans Health Administration. She retired in November of 2014.
