  1. AHP Practice Education Community of Practice Eileen Sharp March 2017

  2. What? • Internet site hosted on The Knowledge Network

  3. Why? • Means to communicate and share practice with the wider AHP community and other AHP PELs

  4. What’s new? Thinking Space – Hot Topics • In order to suggest a hot topic you need to have admin rights to the Thinking Space page. • I have given all AHP PELs admin rights to the Thinking Space page which will allow you to add sub pages and therefore Hot Topics.

  5. Hot Topics • To add a sub page • Log into AHP PE COP • Go to Thinking Space • Select Edit • Select Sub page • Fill in the areas with an * • Create a page • Publish

  6. Congratulations • Well done! • You have successfully added a Hot Topic sub page. • Remember to only use Quick Links Advanced in the Thinking Space area to ensure information is only shared within the AHP PEL community

  7. Redesigned homepage from 27th March

  8. New search results page What does it search? NHS Scotland’s national collection of electronic resources (e-journals, articles and e-books) and the local NHS library collections (primarily print books). Currently you would search The Knowledge Network for electronic resources and look for local resources using the Scottish Health Libraries Catalogue (SHELcat) online catalogue and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde GGCOLIB library catalogue.

  9. Why are there 2 versions? The provider ExLibris has produced a new version of the interface with features we would like you to benefit from but unfortunately this new version is not accessible from older browsers.
