  2. “Which paper towel is most absorbent?” Series of steps: Toobserve paper towels absorbing water • Discuss (or question) the role of water (in a biological system, e.g., paper towels) • Make an hypothesis or prediction to answer the question: “Which paper towel absorbs the most water?” • Design an experiment to answer the question • Perform(or test) the experiment (to gather data) • Present experimental results to support your conclusion

  3. “Which paper towel is most absorbent?” • Research teams: 4 students each, p 2, 3 • Perform the steps • Fill out the Team Lab Notebook, pg 5-9 • Prepare oral presentation • All team members speak as per instructions on page 2-3 • All team members prepare a question to ask each of the other presenting teams
