  6. He also wrote other famous works of fiction. Narayan's book The Guide was adapted to film as Guide, a Hindi movie directed by veteran actor Vijay Anand.  Some of Narayan's popular books are Swami and Friends, The Bachelor of Arts and The English Teacher. http://vaikundarajanblog.blogspot.in
