Herbivores Camel The camels feed on small berries and grass. They store water in their humps. Main Menu Quit
Peacock & Rattlesnake Carnivores The peacock and the rattlesnake are carnivores. The rattlesnake feeds on small animals while the peacock eat insects and worms. Main Menu Quit
Omnivores The orang utan and the polar bears feed on small berries. The orang utan also eats small insects. The polar bears eat fish, seals, penguins and otters. Orang Utan & Polar Bear Main Menu Quit
Adaptation & Habitats The polar bears can withstand the cold in the cold climates because of their hollow fur and their thick blubber. Their fur keeps them camouflaged Polar Bears Main Menu Quit
Camels tiptoe over the hot sand in the deserts where they live in to prevent scorching their legs. They also have a hump which contains water and food. Camels Main Menu Quit
Body Coverings Fur & Scales The leopard has a covering of fur while the snake has scales. Main Menu Quit
The peacock has colourful feathers which can spread out from its tail. The feathers allow the birds, if they are not too heavy, to fly. Feathers Main Menu Quit
Monkeys swing across treetops to get food and to get away from predators. They also amuse themselves by swinging around. Movement Main Menu Quit
Snakes slither around swiftly to get their prey and to move away from predators. They also coil around prey before eating them. Main Menu Quit
Penguins swim around in water in search of food and to escape from predators. They waddle clumsily on land but are good swimmers. Main Menu Quit
