Interviews Continued • Research the district and/or school where you are applying for a position • Why do you want to work their? • Be respectful • Dress in Professional Attire • Have a resume ready- folders and other supporting documents are good. Not too much though
Make demands at interviews Look unorganized Come unprepared Inappropriate Dress Making mistakes on resumes Having resumes too brief Stating too many personal reasons as to why one would not be prepared What not to do?
Other Tips • Interview Practice is important • Try to you enter a certified area where there is a demand • Ex. Elementary, early childhood, mathematics, science, Special Education, etc. • Be prepared for the MTTC Test. • Research the district where you want to work. • Sub and Get some experience and exposure
