How does Direct Internet 3 acceleration work? • Direct Internet 3 uses Slipstream technology • SlipStream uses patented acceleration, compression and network optimization to enhance the online experience for dial-up while significantly reducing bandwidth requirements. • SlipStream uses adaptive data compression, combined with caching and network optimization, to streamline text, graphics, Flash and Web-based emails, including attachments. • SlipStream technology features industry-leading loss and lossless compression algorithms, achieving compression of HTML and XML of up to 50 times.
