An IDCO must work for: An Arkansas RSWMD An Arkansas county ADEQ (see A.C.A.§ 8-6-503 et seq.)
IDCOs have rights and duties to: Inspect Collect and present evidence Issue and serve citations for illegal dumping and unlawful littering (see A.C.A.§ 8-6-201 et seq. and 8-6-401 et seq.)
Courts having jurisdiction may issue penalties. (see A.C.A. § 8-6-204 (a))
IDCOs may require evidence of proper disposal of waste removed from illegal dumps as proof of cleanups.
Licensing required for IDCOs: Regulation 27 as per A.C.A. § 8-6-901 et seq.
Current program: Approximately 20 licensed
