WP3 – Analyzing the needs (phase ADAPTATION) • Gap analyzes of the current available national guidelines • National Climate Change Strategy • (1st: 2008-2025, 2nd: 2014-2025, look ahead for 2050) • EU co-founded program (Operative Program of Rural and Urban Development: 2014 - 2020) • one of the priorities is the adaptation to changing climate, the creation of this adaptation capacity • 1100 billion HUF has been allocatedforthisprogramme • Climate Academy • Critical review of legislation
WP3 – Analyzing the needs (phase ADAPTATION) • mapping the needs for city administration, authority and utilities`staff • Preparation of questionnaire • Target audiences and way to distribution • ÖKO-AQUA (staff of water utilities and others) • Formal letter to mayors (settlements > 5000 PE) • Results: 50 completed (e-mail, regular post, on-line and on-site) • 30 from municipalities • 11 from water utilities • 9 from others (designers, distributors, working in the water sector) • Deliverablereport (inHungarian)
