姚植元 698430004 授課老師 : 潘仁義老師. NS2 – 期末專題 Paging procedure for LTE. Paging procedure. 在 LTE ，為了省電因此有兩種模式 idle 與 active 模式。 當 UE 在 idle mode 底下，只會定時醒過來聽訊息，所以控制端 (MME) 並不知道 UE 的確切位置。 當有別的 UE 需要與該 UE 做通訊連線，就必須使用 Paging 方式找尋在 idle mode 底下的 UE 完成連線。. Paging 示意圖. 假設 MME 不需要做 Ranging 的動作。

  2. Paging procedure • 在LTE，為了省電因此有兩種模式idle與active模式。 • 當UE 在idle mode底下，只會定時醒過來聽訊息，所以控制端(MME)並不知道UE的確切位置。 • 當有別的UE需要與該UE做通訊連線，就必須使用Paging方式找尋在idle mode底下的UE完成連線。
