Columbus Area Navigators Update July 1, 2012 The Moving Gospel One year ago Mary House, a graduate student at Columbus State University (CSU), came to a Fort Benning Navigators Rally. In January, she told Rolinda that she wanted Jesus Christ to rule her life. Rolinda baptized her a week later (right). Rolinda and I followed Mary onto CSU by giving one day a week to preaching and teaching the gospel there. During the same time, Brett Wilson, a laborer at Fort Benning led Donald Whelihan to Christ and baptized him (below, top row third from left). Donald just finished his military obligation and will begin as a freshman at CSU in the fall. Rolinda and I have asked him to move into our home for training while he labors at CSU. This Spring, Mary graduated and took a job at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs where she now labors with the Air Force Navigators. Can you see the gospel moving? This is what makes the Fort Benning Navigators a unique and powerful ministry: we train and raise up laborers at Fort Benning and then send them into the rest of the world! Thank you for making this ministry possible through your giving and prayer. The initial fruit of our partnership with Mary and Donald at CSU is pictured on the left. Rolinda and I left active duty in 2010 to become missionaries with The Navigators at Fort Benning, GA. The mission of The Navigators is to know Christ and make Him known.
