Pizza Project - overview • Simulated Business environment in classroom • Class takes ownership – naming streets, town • Small groups 3-4 work as management teem for pizza business • Lessons in pizza project, supported by text and curriculum. • Fun, interactive, ongoing. • Large task broken down into smaller achievement points • Bonus $ along the way, for competed tasks.

Fair Trade - overview • Teaching opportunities: • Global awareness, international business, business ethics, environmental corporate responsibility, supply and demand, pricing, labour policies, labeling,… • Focus on specific- coffee industry, cocoa, cotton, soccer balls • Support from local Fair Trade Store.- samples, guess speaker or field trip • School awareness campaign,-posters, announcements, bulletin boards, electronic… • Sales opportunity for students and staff
