  2. Why it important to have a variety of animals in the bay? • It is important to have a variety of living things the bay. Ribbon Worms are a great source of food for animals in the bay. Blue Crabs are a great food to humans. Cownose Rays can help by eating bad animals . All these animals have been a food source or are good to the bay.

  3. Why are Ribbon Worms important to the bay? • They are nemertine worms . Their long and flattened like a piece of ribbon . They are very soft and not segmented. There are 7 kinds of Ribbon Worms . When it attacks prey its proboscis pushes out. Ribbon Worms can kill easily and fast . But are a great food source.

  4. Why are Blue Crabs important to the bay? • The blue crabs was named by its sapphire tinted claws. They are found in brackish lagoons and estuaries. They have a pair of paddle shaped legs. Males have a long slender apron. They all have 9 marginal teeth behind each eye. Adults can grow up to 9 inches. They are the most popular catchers in the bay?

  5. Why are cownose rays important to the bay? • They are the most common ray in the bay.   6. Conclusion • Ribbon worms are a great food source for animals in the bay. • Blue crabs are a great food to humans. • Cownose rays can help by eating bad animals. • All these animals have been a food source or are good to the bay.
