  2. First step: Come up with an idea!

  3. Second: Follow the steps to make them! • Get clay and divide into 4 equal portions (about the size of an orange). • Create 2 – 4 identically shaped cylinders. Make sure to trim the bottom before removing from the wheel.

  4. Let cylinders stiffen until a little softer than leather hard. • Watch demo on adding handles and add identical handles for each mug.

  5. Finally: • Clean, trim and get ready to turn in. • Carve initials and class into the bottom and turn in to drying cabinet with this score sheet.

  6. After they are fired, glaze them so they will be water proof… and enjoy!
