Remote Sensing Case Study • Problem • How do you discover how the vegetation over a particular region of WA has altered over the past 10 years as a result of climate change? • Old Solution: • Spend 6 months trying to find the right tapes from several Perth locations and then process the data to produce a time series of images (assuming you can find the right hardware to read the tapes!) • iVEC’s Solution: • Simply use the web form at iVEC that is connected to the petabyte data store, which will return the time series of images within seconds
