My Pumpkin and Math/Science • In this section each student should have their own Pumpkin. • We will then all make measurements of how many inches our pumpkin is around. • How many lines our pumpkins have. • Estimated how many seeds are inside • We will then make a graph of our estimated guess and are findings. *You will be graded based on a rubrics that I will go over so you understand what is expected of you.
Graph Example This is a my Pumpkin. I guessed it had 16 lines, I then counted and it had 20. I then estimated it to be 18” around I then took my ruler and measured 15” around. I then took a wild guess and said that there would be 100 seeds in my Pumpkin. I was wrong there were only 75. This graph demonstrates my estimations and my findings.
