  3. MAJOR BIOMEDICAL RECORDERS 1. ELECTROCARDIOGRAPH: It is an instrument, which records - The electrical activity of the heart muscles, results in ECGram (ECG, EKG). - ECG provides valuable information about the cardiac disorders/abnormality arrhythmias, infarction, hypertrophy) - also used for routine diagnostic applications 2. ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPH: - An instrument used for recording the electrical activity of the brain , results in EEGram - EEG describes the general functions of the brain activity 3.
