Read poem on pg. 437, and answer the following: • What events are happening in the first stanza? • What is happening in the second stanza? • Explain the word connotations in line 1 and in line 21. • What comparison do the word connotations in the above questions make overall? What other figure of speech is used to help make that comparison between these two lines? • Explain the diction in line 7.
