  2. PERTEVPASA Mah. Political issue causes Cyprus divided in two parts, North and South. Famagusta located in north part of the island was an important city with great historical heritage. Since United Nation is supporting some part of the city as forbidden area, called Ghost City, this city needs some elements which was adapted with their inhabitant and users to make the city much more dynamic and alive. This brief research by means of observation and interview with local inhabitant pursuingto evaluate the zone to reveal the best place for any new architectural elements to make the area more dynamic. Although this area is not a expanded zone, but accessibility, focal point, land marks, free area, service markets, and etc. has been investigated

Consequently they had a better situation in compare to the south-immigrated people. South Immigrant They moved to this place with terrified feeling be cause of war… they sold their whole properties to achieve a safe and calm place. Their loose their past and nowadays, when we talk to them they separated in two groups in regard to their idea and feeling about their immigration : who married and who not Some people ignore to answer the question about the history, they told us : “Do not open deep wound

Single immigrant in compare with married immigrant Those who had been married before immigration, they had started their independent life, work, neighbor, family, friends, and etc. After the immigration they must all of their ho They had to start new life with accompanying with their wife or husband. In contrast, the single immigrant since they had not been started to make an independent life they had less problem in compare to married ones. They made their own life after the immigration so they hurt less than others but still had worse situation in compare to Turkish occupants.

It is a long time, to make people close together, specially when they have the same hobbies to over come their difficulties. One of the special feature of the area is their houses, their greenery, flower boxes, new façade decorated houses.

Neighborhood: Psychological survey of mahale More than half of the house wives works on the flower boxes, to make their houses more beautiful and make a great decorated porch to gather with their neighborhood to communicate. in fact, psychologically, to is the best way to make hobby and as a remedy for their old wound.
