  5. SHARE THE TRUTHS OF THE BIBLE • Share salvation through faith in Jesus • Share God’s rest in Jesus STEPS WE NEED TO TAKE

  6. STEP ONE SHARE THE SALVATION IN JESUS

  7. Share Salvation • “Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone.” –EGW, Faith and Works, p. 19. • Our good works are the result of the working of the Spirit A. What is the only solution for the sin problem in our lives? Rom. 3:22-24

  8. Share Salvation B. What were the services of OT tabernacles and how did they illustrate the plan of salvation? Hebrews 9:1-8 • God used the sanctuary to help sinners understand the great plan of salvation • Confession, sacrifice, forgiveness, faith reconciliation, holiness were graphically illustrated in daily and yearly services

  10. Sabbath-keeping is an act of faith Sabbath-keeping is an outward expression of our rest in Christ Resting in Jesus A. What is it about the Sabbath commandment that makes it stand out from others? Exo. 20:1-17

  11. Death is a sleep that ends into two resurrections—a resurrection of life and a resurrection of damnation (John 5:28, 29) Our hope is only in Jesus Resting in Jesus B. What does it say about humanity’s condition in death? Psalm 146:4

  12. The second coming of Christ is so much part of our identity Jesus’ return will be an indivisible, single, literal, audible and visible event Resting in Jesus C. What does the Bible teach about the manner of Christ’s coming? Matthew 24:5, 24-31
