What are nocturnal emissions? • hormonal changes in puberty  erections in boys (when penis gets filled with blood and becomes hard) • can be about sexual thoughts or for no reason at all! • nocturnal emissions are when semen (fluid that contains sperm) is ejaculated from the penis • ejaculation = when sperm & other fluid come out of the urethra in the penis
