  5. Pedigree Cats • Also called a “show cat” • Bred from same pedigree breed • Most expensive type of cat • Very rare breed • Many colors and types available • Not very friendly to humans

  6. Cross-Breed Cats • Originated from Pedigree Parents • Cross between Pedigree and Non-Pedigree • Less expensive than Pedigree Cats • Highly demanding breed • High demanding vocal chords • Mimic appearance of parents • Cute and very friendly

  7. Non-Pedigree Cats • Cross-bred by one or both parents • Affectionately called “moggies” • In-expensive • Available at Animal Shelters • No limit on types or colors • Average house cat
