  1. Swimming for survival By: Matthew, Kevin, Erica, Aniketh, Jeremy & Anushka

  2. How to prevent drowning in public areas: Children under 8 must be supervised by a adult or caregiver over 16, even when other adults or a lifeguard is present. Never swim alone. Always swim with a "buddy." Keep an eye on each other. Don’t be scared to ask for help. Always listen to the lifeguards and swimming instructors so you are more safe in public areas. Always obey the rules because you don’t want to put yourself in danger.

  3. Beach Safety Tips: Swim between the flags At a patrolled beach Surf Lifeguards have checked the conditions and put the red and yellow flags at the safest place to swim or play. Have an adult watch over you Whenever you are at a beach, make sure you have an adult watching over you who can help you and keep you safe. If in doubt stay out If you are at the beach without Surf Lifeguards and you think the water is not safe to go in, stay out.
