  3. Where is it? • Built by CISI Aid S.p.A. under direction of GI/GIS Project, JRC, Ispra • Installed at JRC, Ispra • Maintained by GI/GIS Project • Populated by users!

  4. How is it used? • New user registers as an EC GIS Web-DB user • Content added and maintained by user community • Entries ‘owned’ by the registered user • Flexible search tool will find all qualifying entries • Comprehensive search all entities • Quick search of an entity type, e.g. projects

  5. What are the benefits? • No more continual updating of web-pages! • Forum for information dissemination • Accessible to everyone with access to Internet • Timely access to data • Multiple search paths through data

  6. What stage is it at? • Now in final development • Anticipating launch by September • Demonstrations given by Carmelo Attardo of CISI Aid • Check in Salon St. Amour or Salon Chenas • Now starting 1 month beta-testing phase
