theVision • This project involves the construction of a wheelchair accessible Treehouse at Ridge Ferry Park, near the future River Center. The Treehouse will incorporate environmental/river education exhibits, and be an extension of the River Center.
Proposed Site The proposed site is on the banks of the Oostanaula River, and will provide a magnificent view of both the river and the park.
Construction / Budget • Initial Budget: $25,000 – materials only • NO CITY FUNDING IS REQUESTED

Project Timeline • Tenative Planning and Fundraising from November 2007 through March 2008; Construction to begin in March 2008 with an estimated completion date of June 2008.
