All About Mrs. Read • Graduated in 1998 from Hiram College with BAs in Elementary Education and Special Education • Obtained my Master’s Degree in Administration from Ashland University in 2005. • Coached softball in Chagrin for 7 years. • Married fourteen years to Mike and Mom to two sons AJ and Will. AJ is 9, and Will is 7. • Moved to Chagrin three years ago.

Language Arts • Pilot Year – will loosely use LBD until Pilot programs are selected • Spelling lists – Data Driven – fluid groups • Format of Reading log will change • Time for Kids • Guided Reading Groups • Independent/Collaborative Reading projects • Writing projects • “Write from the Heart”
Club 45 • Intervention/Enrichment • 45 minutes every day • Rotation - Read/Acton/McHugh - Dippel/Oulton/Florkiewicz - Heartz and Adick • Academic Lab (as needed) - Blackwell
