  3. What are lukewarm eyes?

  4. Revelation 3:15-18 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing,

  5. Revelation 3:15-18 not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.’”

  6. Lukewarm Mouths Today you will see that lukewarm eyes are not focused on God.

  7. Lukewarm eyes see problems…

  8. Lukewarm eyes see problems. “Sees a brother in need and does nothing…” 1 John 3:17 “Take out the log in your own eye” Matthew 7:3-5

  9. Lukewarm eyes see problems. You have a lukewarm eyes if you prefer to look at problems rather than solutions.

  11. Lukewarm eyes wander. “Do not look to the right or to the left.” Proverbs 4:27

  12. Lukewarm eyes wander. You have lukewarm eyes if you cannot focus on God.

  13. Lukewarm eyes are spiritually blind…

  14. Lukewarm eyes are spiritually blind. “…anoint your eyes, so that you may see.” Revelation 3:17-18

  15. Lukewarm eyes are spiritually blind. You have lukewarm eyes if you prefer to focus on your sin.

  16. Lukewarm eyes are not focused on God.

  18. Life Application. How can you look for solutions? How can you focus on God? How can you bring sight to the blind?

  19. Challenge. Examine your life. Find time to focus on God. Ask God for a new heart.
