Every student can and shall learn at high levels and, therefore, must have access to all educational resources within the region through the system of public schools served by CREC.
4. What are magnet schools? Public schools of choice that “attract” students to their particular focus or theme.
High-quality educational opportunities that reduce racial, ethnic and socio-economic isolation of students through innovative educational programs.
Theme-based schools that allow students to focus on specific talents or interests while studying a challenging core curriculum within a diverse environment.

16. Middle School Program Enrollment is on first-come, first serve basis
Program will model high school: academics with theme-based coursework
** Middle school students would be exposed to content knowledge, skill work, and outside learning experiences from both career fields
Additional orientation will be scheduled in May for middle school students & their parents
17. Summer Program Background & Purpose
CREC will offer a summer program for students in grades 6-9
Students from the 26 sending towns with an opportunity to meet and develop relationships with their peers
