Thank You! • We would like to thank you for taking time out of your busy lives and schedules to be here today. We’ve loved growing up with you over the years and thank you for not only being here this special day, but for your kindness and support throughout the years that brought us to today. • We would especially like to thank our parents. Thank you for your help, love, patience and presence in our lives. We have been blessed to have the support of you through things big and small. We love you very much!

Host Couple • ________ • Brother and sister-in-law of the Bride • Nathan was always the typical older brother that you see in movies or read about it books. He would put me in a headlock until I cried “Uncle” , but he had has sweet spots and would take me to the latest Disney movie in theaters. When Nate and Renee Married October 2008, I was thrilled to gain a wonderful “sister”, Renee. • She is caring, thoughtful, smart, and a great role model. Now that we all live in the same city, we’ve had fun hanging out together and trying new places. In August 2010 we ran a half-marathon together. It was an awesome experience to share and we plan on doing it again together next year. Nate has even considered joining in the fun. ____, Friend of the Groom Thad and I have known each other since elementary school. Thad is also one of the soccer guys. We have shared a lot of great memories, trips, and some great concerts over the years. One of our strongest bonds has always been our shared love for music. ____, Friend of the Groom Dan and I were great friends and neighbors growing up. His family moved to Wyoming when we were in sixth grade. We visited each other each summer and stayed in contact. In high school, Dan’s family moved back to the area and he joined our soccer team. Now Dan’s in Scotland studying to become a veterinarian, but it’s good to see him when he’s back in the states.

Maggie and I have shared special moments and experiences throughout our lives and I knew that this day shouldn’t be any different. Best Man _____,friend of the Groom Pete and I have been friends since elementary school. We both went to SIU Carbondale , where we lived together for three years. We had some great times in Carbondale exploring the outdoors, golf courses, wine trails, and local pubs. Pete recently moved to Chicago. It’s great to be in the same city again.
Flower Girl & Ring Bearer • _____, Friends of the couple • I, Hannah, met Elizabeth and Michael when they were two years old and six months old during my junior year of college. After responding to an ad for a part-time nanny in Marquette’s newspaper, they became the highlight of my day for the next three years. Ben met the kids while visiting me in Milwaukee. After meeting him just once, the kids would often ask when he could come to play next. • It was hard leaving Milwaukee and leaving the ____ family behind, but luckily they come to Chicago fairly often and I occasionally babysit and spend time with the kids. Ben loves taking Michael to Dave and Busters to "shoot dinosaurs“ and we all love playing “shark” in the pool. We’ve both come to love the kids very much and love spending time with them. _____,friend of the Groom Jordan and I went to elementary school together, and we both share a love of soccer. Jordan and his family moved to North Carolina after high school, so Although we don’t get to see each other often, we always have a great time when we’re together. _____,Friend of the Groom Joe and I have also played soccer together since elementary school. We had a great freshmen year at SIU Carbondale together with other friends from Moline. We have shared many great experiences and memories over the years and continue to create more.
Bridesmaids ____, Friend of the Bride Coll and I met our freshman year of college at Marquette while living in the same dorm wing. Once she selected Mechanical Engineering as her major, we instantly hit it off, both not fitting the description of a “typical” engineer. I shared many great experiences with Colleen throughout the five years we were at MU. I love and miss her creativity, energy, and passion for life, as she’s now living in Florida. Colleen and I also share something else special, Ben and I’s “Engage-a-versary” date. Coll’s boyfriend proposed to her on August 29, 2010, exactly one year after Ben proposed to me. I cannot wait for Colleen’s wedding next fall. _____, Friend of the Bride Soph and I have been lifelong friends since elementary school and created endless memories along the way. No matter the amount of time between our conversations, she’s always there for me, and it’s great to know she’s just a phone call away. It’s nice to have such a solid relationship with such an amazing person. ____,sister of the Groom We are both happy to have Kim be party of our wedding, as we were a part of hers July 2009. Kim has been a great resource to us living in Chicago. In recent years, Kim has become much more to Hannah than just Ben’s sister. She’s become a friend, a confidant, and someone I enjoy talking to and being around. I’m so lucky to be gaining a sister-in-law like Kim. _____, Friend of the Bride Mal and I become friends in junior high and have become much closer since then. We share a similar spirit in our love for life and creativity. After inviting me to her church camp one summer, we went together for seven summers, first as campers and then becoming counselors. Mallory’s relationship with Christ and her loving demeanor towards everyone she comes in contact with has been a true inspiration to me. Mallory is engaged and getting married September 2011. I look forward to being a part of her big day, just as she’s been for ours.
Groomsmen _____, Friend of the Groom Blake and I grew up playing basketball together. We were roommates my first year living in Chicago. We had a lot of fun living near Wrigley Field Blake moved to Coralville, Iowa and is recently engaged. I look forward to visiting Blake and going to some Iowa games in the future. _____, brother-in-law of the Groom John is a great brother-in-law. He has been a great help to us to navigate Chicago. He always has good suggestions of places to go, things to try, and where to eat. We both share a love for golf and sports. Hannah and I always have fun when hanging out with Kim and John. ____,Friend of the Bride Mol and I met in junior high and our high school weekends were often spent at her house making memories and having fun. Within the past year and a half we both became “doggy-parents” and I have enjoyed having someone to swap stories, have doggy-dates, and share frustrations with. Molly’s shining smile and cheerful laugh always brighten my day. She’s someone I know I can count on, day or night, and I love that about her.
