WORK PLANING LEEDS IBD PATIENT PANEL AREAS OF ATTENTION BY THE PANEL 2008_10 The Panel has been active for two years. This note lists the areas where the Panel has focused its attention The publication of the IBD Standards has set a framework for future attention
WORK PLANING Outpatients • Questionnaire re patient experience to prioritise areas for attention • A single standard of service across all sites in Leeds • Standard of accommodation at the LGI in particular • Access to Flare Up Clinic (problem with booking service) • Delays in follow ups – use of telephone/email clinics to resolve • Patient information • Renaming of Colitis Clinic to Crohn’s and Colitis Clinic • Review of patient experience – suggestion box

WORK PLANING The Panel has met with the Chief Executive of the Trust and the Director of Quality. The clinical team are active members of the Panel. Ian Johnston Chairman
