  4. Success Criteria: • By the end of this session everyone should be able to: • Identify and use 6 commonly-used items of emergency kit; • Use standard emergency procedures to cope with a range of possible scenarios. • Some of you may be able to: • Use more advanced signalling techniques.

  5. Activities: • Kit selection • Caird Park scenarios • Self-evaluation and debrief

  6. A.C.T. • ASSESS the situation: • Is there any immediate danger? • What are we going to do? • COMMUNICATE: • Stop and wait for staff • Have key info ready (Grid, situation) • Phone staff • Emergency signal • TAKE ACTION: • First Aid, Shelter etc.
