Shakespeare’s Family • John and Mary Shakespeare were his mother and father • Siblings: Joan, Margaret, William, Gilbert, Joan, Anne, Richard, Edmund • Married Anne Hathaway and had 3 children: Susanna, Hamnet, and Judith (Hamnet died as a child).
Education • Shakespeare possibly only attended school until the age of 13 The hornbook is what Shakespeare would have used in school. It included the alphabet and the Lord’s Prayer.
