Degraded Image. Original Image – an image from Kyoto, Japan. A cool float during Gion Matsuri – a festival. Got a nice print from Walgreens to start this out. Step 1. Scanned the original image in grayscale and printed it out with a crappy campus printer on regular printer paper.

  1. Degraded Image • Original Image – an image from Kyoto, Japan. A cool float during GionMatsuri – a festival. • Got a nice print from Walgreens to start this out.

  2. Step 1 • Scanned the original image in grayscale and printed it out with a crappy campus printer on regular printer paper.

  3. Step 2 • Color with Sharpies

  4. Step 3 • Put it in a cardboard frame & backlight it

  5. Step 4 • Add some Passion… tea

  6. Step 5 – Splatter Paint

  7. Step 6 – Put in Shower

  8. Step 7 • Write a short story inspired by the image This splatter inspired me because it kind of looks like a rabbit with floppy ears
