  4. Psalms 71:19 (NIV) "Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God, you who have done great things. Who, O God, is like you?"

  5. God's righteousness means that God always acts in accordance with what is right and is Himself the final standard of what is right. --Wayne Grudem

  6. "There is no one righteous, not even one" Romans 3:10 "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

  7. Isaiah 64:6 (NIV) "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags . . . like the wind our sins sweep us away."

  8. The people that the psalms call righteous are THOSE WHO FAITH AND LOVE FOR GOD CAUSE THEM TO ORDER THEIR LIVES ACCORDING TO GOD'S COMMANDS AND LAWS.

  9. GOD MAKES RIGHTEOUS THOSE WHO PUT THEIR FAITH IN JESUS John 3:18 (NIV) "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."

  10. 1 John 1:9 NIV "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

  11. Psalms 51:9-10 NIV "Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."

  12. "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.“ 2 Corinthians 5:21

  13. TO IMPUTE IS TO ASSIGN OR TO CREDIT

  14. Isaiah 53:6 (NIV) "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all."

  15. Romans 3:25-26 NIV "God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice. . . “

  16. At the Cross Our sins are imputed to Christ His righteousness is imputed to us.

  17. Note to Saints, God wants your life to be BLESSED. Take on His righteousness. Live out His righteousness.
