TIME OUTS • 2 IN THE FIRST HALF AND 3 IN THE SECOND HALF, NO CARRY OVER. • T.O. MUST BE REQUESTED BY THE COACH AT THE SCORER’S TABLE. • GRANTED AT THE NEXT STOPPAGE OF PLAY

TIME OUTS • NO TIMEOUTS BETWEEN FREE THROWS • EACH TIMEOUT IS 60 SECONDS IN DURATION-WARNING AT 50 SECONDS. • SUBS MAY OCCUR AFTER WARNING HORN.
TIME OUTS • TEAMS MUST STAY IN THEIR HUDDLES UNTIL THE WARNING HORN. • 1 TIMEOUT PER OVERTIME PERIOD. NO CARRYOVER INTO OVERTIME NOR BETWEEN OVERTIME PERIODS.
TIME OUTS IN THE LAST 2 MINUTES OF THE 2ND HALF: • A TEAM THAT REQUESTS A TIMEOUT FROM THE BACKCOURT. I.E. AFTER A MADE FG OR FT. BUT IT COULD BE A DEFENSIVE VIOLATION • MAY INBOUND OPPOSITE THE TABLE AT THE DIVISION LINE.
TIME OUTS IN THE LAST 2 MINUTES OF THE 2ND HALF: • THE ENSUING THROW IN MAY BE THROWN INTO THE BACKCOURT. • NO 24 SECOND RESET BUT A NEW 8 SECOND COUNT BEGINS – PREVENTATIVE OFFICIATING
FREE THROWS • MAXIMUM 5 PLAYERS (3 DEFENSE; 2 OFFENSE) IN DESIGNATED LANE SPACES. SPACE BETWEEN 1ST AND 2ND SPOT IS A NEUTRAL ZONE. • SPACES ARE EXCLUSIVE TO EACH TEAM. • LANE SPACES MAY BE VACANT DURING A FREE THROW ATTEMPT.
FREE THROWS • VIOLATIONS BY EITHER TEAM (EXCLUDING THE SHOOTER) ARE CALLED ONLY IF THE FREE THROW IS UNSUCCESSFUL. • VIOLATIONS BY THE FREE THROW SHOOTER TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER OTHER VIOLATIONS.
FREE THROWS • FIVE SECONDS TO RELEASE THE TRY. • PLAYERS IN MARKED LANE SPACES MAY ENTER ON THE RELEASE OF THE SHOT. • ALL OTHER PLAYERS WHEN THE BALL HITS THE RING.

AIRBORNE SHOOTER • CONSIDERED IN THE ACT OF SHOOTING UNTIL BOTH FEET RETURN TO THE FLOOR. • “CHARGE” (REALLY SHOULD BE CALLED A PUSH) AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE BALL-SAME AS NCAA RULE.
BLOCKED SHOT • PLAYER RETURNING TO THE FLOOR WITHOUT LOSING CONTROL OF THE BALL-TRAVELLING VIOLATION.
FALLING • PLAYER WITH THE BALL IS PERMITTED TO FALL TO THE FLOOR. NO TRAVELLING VIOLATION
FIGHTING • HEAD COACH OR ASSISTANT MAY ASSIST IN A FIGHTING SITUATION. • ANY PEOPLE WHO LEAVE THE BENCH ARE DISQUALIFIED. REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF EJECTED PERSONNEL ONLY ONE BENCH TECHNICAL WILL BE CHARGED TO THE COACH.
VIOLATIONSCLOSELY GUARDED • 5 SECOND COUNT ON A PLAYER HOLDING THE BALL ANYWHERE ON THE COURT
VIOLATIONS8 SECONDS • 8 SECONDS TO ADVANCE THE BALL INTO THE FRONT COURT • BALL OUT OF BOUNDS WITH NO CHANGE OF POSSESSION - 8 SECOND COUNT CONTINUES.

VIOLATIONS 24 SECOND SHOT CLOCK • SHOT MUST BE RELEASED PRIOR TO SOUNDING OF THE HORN AND SUBSEQUENTLY HIT THE RIM – SAME AS NCAA. • HORN DOESN’T STOP PLAY, ONLY THE OFFICIAL’S WHISTLE DOES.
VIOLATIONS BACK COURT • FRONT COURT STATUS OCCURS ONCE EITHER THE BALL OR ONE FOOT CROSSES THE DIVISION LINE. • NO AIRBORNE EXCEPTIONS ON JUMP BALLS, THROW INS OR INTERCEPTIONS.
VIOLATIONS BASKET INTERFERENCE • OFFENSE AND DEFENSE MAY TOUCH THE BALL ONCE IT CONTACTS THE RIM. • IF THE DEFENSE CAUSES THE BACKBOARD TO VIBRATE DURING A SHOT ATTEMPT AND THE OFFICIAL BELIEVES THE SHOT HAD A CHANCE TO SCORE, THIS IS A B.I. NOT A T
VIOLATIONS FAKING DURING FREE THROWS • SHOOTER MAY NOT FAKE A FREE THROW ATTEMPT. • NO RULE AGAINST FAKING TO DRAW A VIOLATION BY PLAYERS IN MARKED LANE SPACES.
FOULS- PERSONAL FOULS - • CONTACT BY AN OPPONENT DURING A LIVE OR DEAD BALL
FOULS TEAM/PLAYER CONTROL • NO FREE THROWS ON ANY TEAM CONTROL FOUL. • PLAY RESUMED WITH A THROW IN.
