What is the aim of MindEd? • MindEdaims to target the one million adults who work with children and young people • It provides free practical e-learning sessions when and wherever they’re needed, quickly building knowledge and confidence to identify an issue, act swiftly and improve outcomes for children and young people.
Where did it come from? Funded by the Department for Health, MindEdwas built by a Consortium of organisations: • Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health • Royal College of Psychiatrists • Royal College of Nursing • Royal College of General Practitioners • British Psycholgical Society • National Children's Bureau • YoungMinds And partnered by • British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy HEE e-Learning for Healthcare
Who and what is it for? • I am worried about a specific young person or situation • I am interested or care about an issue but I don’t have a specific problem in mind • I am interested in a particular area or aspect of mental health • I am undertaking specialist training in one of the programmes included in MindEd • I would like to know if there is any evidence to support the use of any e-based therapy with young people
