  3. Grade Entry

  4. Login • Go to www.registrar.clemson.edu • Click on “Submitting Fall 2002 Grades” • Enter your userid and password.

  8. Red Indicators • Once a grade is entered, the red indicator will disappear. • If there are any red indicators still showing, those records do not have a grade entered yet.

  9. Candidate Grades • To enter Candidate grades: • Enter the course information • Select Candidates Only • Select which method you prefer to enter grades

  10. Enter All Grades • To enter All grades: • Enter the course information • Select All • Select which method you prefer to enter grades

  11. Entering Grades • Enter grades for each student listed • Click • If for some reason you would like to not submit what you have entered on the current page, you can either: • Click or • Close your web browser

  12. Entering Grades • Note: • There are red indicators on the right side of each student’s record. • The red indicators disappear once a grade is entered. • You will not be able to submit grades for that section, until each student has a grade entered (i.e. no more red indicators).

  13. Pass/Fail Courses • When entering grades for a Pass/Fail course, only a ‘P’, ‘F’, ‘I’, or ‘*’ will be available to choose from.

  14. Verify Grades Submitted/Display Only • You can confirm the grades entered by selecting

  15. Calculated Grades • If you look at a section that a student or students have had their grades calculated, you will not be able to change that grade through this site.

  17. Forgotten Grade • If you attempt to submit a page that does not have all the grades entered, • You will receive an error message:

  18. Grade of * • If you attempt to submit a grade of an “*” , you will receive this message:

  19. No Authorization • If you are trying to enter grades for a class that is not yours, this message will appear:

  20. MVSVTAM error • If you are currently logged into the mainframe, you will receive this error:

  21. No Section Record • If you enter a course that does not exist, you will receive this error:

  23. Browser Conflicts • Win 2000 • Internet Explorer 6.0 w/ CommonName – FAILS • CommonName installed on PC causes IE to have real problems. A fix installed for CLE sends user to an error screen. CommonName must be removed to use CRSMweb. • Opera 6.03 – This browser can not be used

  24. Browser Conflicts cont’d • Windows 98 • Netscape 4.75 – Occasionally displayed “Transfer interrupted” for a few seconds after pressing submit button on ‘final grade’ screen before ‘grade entry’ displays. (an error message appears, then it works)

  25. Browser Conflicts cont’d • RH Linux 7.2 • Netscape 6.2 – Font does not fit in entry boxes (after exit input area and it is set to uppercase) on ‘final grade entry’ screen

Browser Conflicts cont’d • Other: • All users should read information about ‘Popups’ on the authorization screen. • On most browsers using the back button from the grade entry screen occasionally caused the window to stick on “Loading”. If you close the window and return to “Final Grade Screen” everything works fine.
