  1. Action Plan AqeelaAzam SKBZ College Phase - VI

  2. Long-term Goal • Familiarise students with basic knowledge of atom, molecule and bonding between atoms.

  3. Short-term Goal • To provide knowledge about chemical bonding. • Make the children understand the concepts of different bonds with their names and examples. • Explain the topic by using new techniques. • Encourage collaboration among students.

  4. Instructional Strategies and Tasks • I will provide more opportunities for students to answer questions that require critical thinking. • I will provide students with time for group discussion. • I will ask questions that require students to explain how they came to an answer. • Some new chemicals will be shown to create interest among the students.

  5. Solution and Anticipated Challenges CHALLENGES SOLUTIONS • My subject incharge may not agree with my new approach. • Some parents may not agree with group work. • I am not very good at using computer. • I will incorporate her ideas. • Consent form will be sent to parents to inform them about the new ways and methods. • I will spend my free periods in computer lab to learn new techniques.

  8. Conclusion By implementing my newly acquired 21st century teaching techniques, students will be empowered and will appreciate and gain a better knowledge of chemistry.
