Domain 1: Planning and Preparation When designing student assessments, teachers plan with the end in mind. Teachers design or select assessments that are: -congruent with instructional outcomes -align with state standards -contain a balance of formative and summative activities, and -include appropriate data from standardized tests and district assessments.
