  2. What is Big Data The term 'Big Data' has become almost ubiquitous in discussions surrounding the future of data visualization and business intelligence. Although it is used in a range of different situations, the expression has become an umbrella term to explain the steep increase in the amount, and the variety of data now produced.

  3. Data Scientist - Troy Sadkowski A definition I like to use is that you have Big Data when your current tools cannot filter the required data out of it within the threshold of time that you need it. A more generalised answer is more than 100GB :)
