Human & Physical Features Did you know that the birthrate in Kenya is triple the amount compared to the U.S.A? First of all Kenya’s doctors per 100,00 is 14 which is low also means that the Infant Mortality is high. Kenya is a world country, I can tell because it is the second highest Literacy Rate out of the four countries, also the population in Kenya is less than the U.S.A., it’s 35,599,000. In conclusion there are many fact about the Human and Physical Features of Kenya.
Kenyan Flag There are many fascinating facts facts about the flag of Kenya. To begin with all the symbols mean something. The black stripe represents the African people, the red stripe stands for there struggle for independence. Kenya’s flag is based on the flag of the Kenyan African National Union. The country changed its name from Dominican of Kenya to the Republic of Kenya in 1964. On the other hand, since the Kenyan flag is based on the KANU party, which has lost power, it is possible that a new flag will be coming out soon. In conclusion, Kenya’s flag has many interesting about its symbols and history

He was a nationalist leader during the fight for independence. • From 1964 to 1992 Kenya was a one party state, ruled by KANU. • 1992, Kenya started multi-party elections.
Kenyan Religion Did you know that most of the population of Kenya practices Christianity? To begin with Kenya has five religions which makes up its culture. The first of these is Christianity has 2 billion believers worldwide. Islam is the second most common religion in Kenya there are about 1.3 billion muslims worldwide. Christians believe in one God in the form of the father, son, and holy spirit. Christianity’s text is the Holy Bible. Also, Muslims believe in one God (Allah in Arabic) and it’s text is Qur’an. In conclusion, Kenya’s two main religions are Christianity and Islam.
Animals, Plants & Natural Resources Kenya has many exotic animals, plants, and natural resources. Here are a few facts about them. To begin with one of Kenya’s animals is the ostrich, which cannot fly, and will run when threatened. The Dama gazelle is the largest of the gazelle species, weighing up to 190 pounds. Next, one of the plants in Kenya is a blood lily. A fact about this plant is that the large spherical ball represents up to 150 smaller flowers, all opening at once. A natural resource in Kenya is gemstones. Did you know that Amber is the softest gemstone, and diamond is the hardest gemstone? In conclusion Kenya has many exotic animals, plants and natural resources.
