Research Instrument #1: SCOPE • ERP gains in all 21 survey items exceeded control group.
Research Instrument #2: MAP • In four domains, ERP schools increased score by 22.3%.
Research Instrument #3: CAPS • Control schools scored higher in Arabic.
Research Instrument #3: CAPS • By Year 3, control schools scored higher in Math.
Research Instrument #3: CAPS • By Year 3, control schools exceeded ERP schools in Science.
WHAT DO WE LEARN? Was our design appropriate? If not, are we comfortable with this? Are we measuring and learning about the right things? In the next 10-15 years, the real question is does education still offer an opportunity for all? What are the equity implications?
