If we are saying this, they are too • Where is the communication • What do I do next • I have done all I can do • I have a life outside of Toastmasters • They are just not responding to my emails • I did not sign up for this • No one told me that • I’m tired • Why are they asking me to recruit • I won’t be on the DEC next year

If we say this, they will too • I love Toastmasters • This a great place to network • What can I volunteer for • Toastmasters has made a better life for me • I tell everyone how Toastmasters has helped me • This is better than I thought • I’m going to be in the contest • I got a promotion, because of Toastmasters • Having fun while I learn • If TM got any better, I couldn’t stand it

  10. This is how we are going to do it: Empower people in the clubs Give them a smile Listen Encourage Motivate Don’t rely on email Shake everybody's hand in the club If you are nervous, practice You are a leader – people will follow your lead
