Reflection • Light moves moves in a straight line. • Light waves move the same way whether they come from the sun, from light bulbs, or from projectors. • If light reflects off an object, such as a mirror, light still moves in a straight line, but in a different direction.
Refraction and Transmission • Refraction is the bending of light. • Light bends (refracts), when ever it enters a enters a new material at an angle • Light changes directions as it passes a new material in order to travel the shortest path. • Transmission is the passing of light through an object.
