What are steering group meetings? • Purpose and Mandate • Regular meetings between the involved partner (monthly/ bi-monthly) • Focus on strategic decision taking and concept development (zoom out of daily work and pure implementation) • Enhance communication and exchange knowledge among different sectors/ departments and ministry levels • Discuss upcoming challenges and solve conflicts together • Monitor the achievement of the objectives • Develop dissemination strategies of successful interventions • Enhance cooperation between involved actors and other DPs • Strengthen and establish stable relationships • Share knowledge and responsibility • Make ownerhsip and participation come true • Ensure sustainability beyond the program
