Items discussed: • We discussed the complications of everyone not knowing the title of the key competencies. We need to ensure that everyone knows and uses the same format when presenting stories. • Angela said that all co-ordinators must attend the meetings with the option of taking other members of staff in order to fulfill contract of mobilities.
Action Points • Two presentations are required for each story – one with the key competencies and one with the activities. Each story must be split into these two presentations. • Everyone will use the same template for presenting the key competencies. Sally and Jonathan will create a template and upload to the blog and e-mail to all partners. • The eight key competencies are: • Communication in mother tongue • Communication in foreign languages • Mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology • Digital competence • Learning to Learn • Interpersonal, intercultural and social competence and civic competence • Entrepreneurship • Cultural awareness and expression.
We will leave the first stories that have been created already, although add the key competencies using the new format to the second story. We will prepare one topic with one story by the next meeting – at discretion of the school. .All new and edited projects to be uploaded to the website straight away. All stories used need to be kept simple. • Next meeting: • Turkey – 17th to 19th May 2010. • Flights needed to Istanbul and then connect to Elazig.
