About the united kingdom The United Kingdom is made up off four segments; England(where we live), Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We live in a beautiful part of England called The Forest Of Dean which is a wonderful forest full of nature trails and bicycle trails. When some people talk about England they think of London, well to get to London we would have to travel in a car for three hours so there will be no trips to London sorry!.. Contents page
Traditional food and drink One of our traditional foods is roast dinner. We have a roast dinner every Sunday. England is famous for its fish and chips and its cheddar. Scotland is famous for Haggis and whisky. Wales is famous for leeks, Welsh rebit and Welsh cakes. Northern Ireland is famous for Guinness. Contents Page
Places to visit In the U.K (especially in the Forest of Dean) we have so many activities involving the outdoors, it is hard not to get exited. We have nature trails, bike trails, adventure trails in the tree tops, zoos, the list goes on. We have the dean heritage centre near where we live and it tells you all about the Forest of Dean.
