2. Update– Additional Staff • 4 Chattisgarh, 8 Rajasthan, 13 UP, 8 in AP & 10 TN • Recruiting block coordinators • Identified a Project Manager, based in Delhi

3. Update– Baseline, monitoring system • Baseline completed in current area of operation • Gap assessments on AWCs, PHCs, SCs, NRCs/MTCs • Qualitative info on level of service satisfaction • M&E person to review the data and review what more additional information need to be collected, finalise indicators to be tracked and establish a common M&E framework • Web based application for tracking & analysing data

4. Update– Capacity Building • 12 member team to visit Gumla – 12,13 March • Orientation & planning meeting for Block Coordinators – 9-12 April

5. Roll out plan • Informal networking with DMs, Director ICDS, NRHM, UNICEF, other INGOs in progress • CSNSI has provided WV with a letter of introduction • Tentative state level launch • Jaipur, Lucknow, Hyderabad – 15 April 13 • Raipur, Chennai – 20 April 13

6. Suggestion • Naandi Foundation, Welthungerhilfe, Save the Children and World Vision to meet separately for a detailed exchange of ideas and developing common strategy and support systems
