  2. General Ebola Virus Knowledge The Ebola virus is an extremely severe disease that effects humans and primates.

  3. Symptoms Symptoms for the Ebola virus include • Sore throat • Fever • Dry, hacking cough • Weakness • Severe headache • Muscle and joint pain • Diarrhoea • Dehydration • Stomach pain • Vomiting

  4. Cause of the virus There is only one cause of the Ebola virus and that is the initial infection.

  5. Treatment of the virus There is no “Treatment” of the Ebola Virus but there is help such as intravenous fluids, oxygen and blood pressure medication to prevent blood clots.

  6. Prevention Prevention of the virus is to drink clean water and wash hands regularly.
