With the support of external consultant, the NTP (applied for PR along side other organizations) is finalizing draft proposal, and this will be ready in mid October. In that time they will invite expression of interest for SR. The potential SRs will be part of the finalization of the TB proposal. MRCS has been encouraged by National TB Control Program to apply for SR status.
Priorities, Aims & Time frames • On HIV and HSS the CCM is yet to complete Gap analysis. To this effect, expressions of interest for PR role have not been circulated. Nevertheless, National AIDS Commission has hired a consultant to start working on the proposal for PR. The priority areas for HIV will be decided upon after the Gap analysis has been completed. • The CCM has indicated that HSS proposal will not be reviewed in the same way round based proposals are reviewed. • As SR, the MRCS is expected to focus on TB and HIV. The CCM indicated that the successful SR will sign contract and work closely with PR.
